HERNAN DIDIER PANTALEON
Hernan Pantaleon is the founder of Hernan Pantaleon Abogados and teaches in the University of Miami School of Law's Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law LL.M. Program the course "Entertainment Law in Latin America", including aspects of intellectual property, production and media distribution. He also teaches Doing Business in Latin America, a course focused on the business law of the region and a workshop on risk and challenges of doing business in Latin America, both courses under the Inter-American Law Program at the University of Miami. Prior to opening the firm in 2013, he worked at Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal, the Buenos Aires office of Baker & McKenzie, and the New York offices of Grant, Hermann, Schwartz & Klinger.
Throughout his extensive career, he has focused his practice on art and entertainment, media law and content distribution, and also in corporate law, banking and finance. His practice includes counseling for major TV networks, studios, OTT services and cable TV companies in matters related to development, production and distribution agreements, intellectual property agreements, music licensing, talent agreements and relationship with unions and writers associations, to name a few. He has also served as counsel to corporations in matters related to stock purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures. As counsel for major banks he has dealt with numerous matters related to domestic and international syndicated loan agreements and structured financing.
Hernan Pantaleon graduated with his J.D. from the School of Law of the Argentine Catholic University and subsequently earned his Diploma in Comparative Law from Georgetown University, as a Fulbright Scholar. He then made his way to the University of Miami to obtain his LL.M. in International Comparative Law.
CHRISTIAN AXEL PANTALEON
Christian Pantaleon is a partner with Hernan Pantaleon Abogados. Prior to becoming a member with the firm in 2015, he was the general counsel at Endemol Argentina and VP of Business Development at Endemol Shine North America (Miami, Florida), the Business and Legal Affairs counsel at MTV Network International (Miami, Florida) and the general counsel at MTV Networks Argentina.
Throughout his extensive career, he has focused his practice on art and entertainment, media law and production. His practice with major media companies includes matters related to production agreements, intellectual property agreements and relationship with talent and crew, to name a few. He has focus extensively in production of scripted and non scripted (contest and gaming) shows for international distribution.
Christian Pantaleon graduated with his J.D. from the School of Law of the Argentine Catholic University and LL.M. in International Comparative Law from the University of Miami.
EMILIANO CORDOBA
Emiliano Cordoba is of counsel whit Hernan Pantaleon Abogados. Emiliano started his career in Buenos Aires, Argentina, as a corporate attorney in Baker & Mckenzie. He has 30 years of experience in the corporate and financial services industry, having held fiduciary, advisory and business development roles in the USA, British Virgin Islands, Monaco, Spain and Switzerland. Throughout his extensive career, he has focused his practice on wealth planning, corporate law, banking and finance, and international financing structures for audiovisual content. He is currently also the agent of his son Lorenzo, who appears in Sagrada Familia (Netflix) and is involved in all aspects of his work, including contracts and image rights.
Emiliano is qualified to practice law in Argentina and Spain, and holds Masters' degrees from University of Miami and the Universidad de Valladolid.

Our art, entertainment and media law practice provides comprehensive legal service advising national and international clients on different areas of art, entertainment and media, including cable television companies (in matters related to new technologies and TV licenses), international TV networks (in matters related to TV content production and distribution and licensing), OTT services (including TV development and production), international studios (including production of TV series and motion pictures), relationship with talents (for actors, directors, scriptwriters and musicians), and music licensing and distribution for major streaming services. We have a vast practice in international legal, content and trademark clearances for motion pictures, series and shows directed to international distribution. We also advised Argentine government agencies in charge of content production and distribution for national air and cable TV channels and motion pictures in matters related to financing the audiovisual industry and developing local content and production. We have experience in advising on protection of works of art, music synchronization, licensing and public performing rights.

We have acted as counsel to local and foreign banks and financial institutions on secured and unsecured credit facilities, trade finance and pre-export financing.
